Meanders of Byala reka
This nature site has an area of around 1500 ha and offers stunning landscapes and incredible wilderness. Along the river banks grow Oriental plane forests and reside one of the greatest reptile diversity including the snake-eyed lizard, the European legless lizard, the Caspian swamp tortoise, and Hermann's tortoise. It is a common place to watch Egyptian vulture, black kite, golden eagle, and black stork. The Black vulture is a regular visitor for feeding and having a rest. The Mediterranean Horseshoe Bat and the greater noctule bat, also the otter are to be found within this nature area.
